Recommended Floral Care

We love your flowers, and hope you do, too! Most fresh cut flowers have an expected vase life of 5 - 7 days with proper care. Follow the steps below to ensure they last as long as possible.

Clean Water

Fresh, clean, water is the key to a long-lasting arrangement. After the flowers are delivered, top off the vase with a bit of water. Change out the water at least every 2-3 days to keep it clear. Room temperature is best!

Fresh Cut

Fresh cut flowers enjoy, well, a fresh cut! Using sharp kitchen scissors, give your blooms a fresh cut at an angle at least once during the life of your arrangement. Focus on blooms that have more of a woody stem that like to drink a lot of water, like roses, hydrangea, lilacs, stock, and snapdragons.

Sunlight & HVAC

Your flowers will do best if kept in a cool space in your home away from a lot of direct light (either from the sun or lightbulbs) and heating or air conditioning vents.
